Nathan had to close his eyes as the water wrapped around him. It was warmer underwater than above water, and was a bit comforting, well that is if you overlook the seaweed that was tickling his feet. He couldnt believe that he actually had the guts to pull her under. He was always so afraid of how a girl would react that he never really tried something like that before. Many girls always acted like they were extremely frail and to do something like that would break them in half.
Nathan wasnt sure how long she would be able to hold her breath, so he let go of his hold on her. He floated there for a second and tried to open his eyes, which probably wasnt that smart. Something got into his right eye, causing him to have to go above water to get it out.
When he broke the surface, he tried to take as deep of a breath as possible, since the laughing didnt make it very easy to do. He rubbed his right eye slightly, working the foreign object out, but never seised to stop laughing. It wasnt psycotic clown laughing, but more like soft laughing. "I told you that you were going to get it," he said smoothly, trying to stop the laughter.

Isabella drifted slowly to the surface when Nathan let her go, and broked into the open air laughed as she treaded water. She looked around, unsure where Nathan would come up and whether or not he would try a sneak attack. She grinned when he came up laughing, and swam a lazy circle around him as he rubbed at his eye. She was still grinning broadly, and obviously not the least bit upset that he'd dragged her underwater.
"You definetly did."
She stopped her circle infront of him, floating on her back. Her dark eyes searched his face -though they weren't particularly sure what they were searching for- and the stars in the sky were reflected back out of the depths of them. She was very very glad she'd chosen to bring Nathan with her. This was so much better than anything she would have gotten into had she come down on her own. She knew now that she trusted this boy, trusted him to keep her safe from everyone around her, and most importantly, from herself.
The night and the water were beginning to cool down, and it chilled her bare skin, leaving goosebumps in it's wake. She ignored them for now, but maybe it was getting to be time to head back to the hotel for dinner. Her stomach liked the sound of that idea, and growled softly.

He completely stopped laughing when Isabella stopped in front of him and just looked at him. He was in a trance, one caused by her eyes. There was just something so beautiful about them that basically hit him in the head right at that moment. He didnt want to look away, he just wanted to keep staring into them.
His trance was broken though when a cold chill was sent straight up his spine. He hadnt noticed how cold it was getting until right then. His mind was telling him "no its warm, just stay right there" and his body finally yelled at him and called him an idiot for not realizing it was cold.
"So how about we possibly check out that hotel and get something to eat?" he asked, his voice settling into a flirtatious tone. He hadnt meant for it to be so flirtatious, it kind of did it on its own. He wasnt going to take it back though. He took it at his minds way of telling him to go for it and flirt with the girl a little more.

Isabella hadn't even noticed the cold until Nathan broke the momentary spell woven by stars and velvet night. She pushed herself upright, swam around him and latched her arms and legs around his torso, hooking her chin over her shoulder.
"Sounds like a good plan to me."
She noted the flirty tones to his voice and wondered what -if anything- else he was planning -or wanting to plan- for their night. None of which she would be the least upset by. And none of which she was unprepared for. She knew herself well enough to know not to go anywhere without precautions. So she had never stopped taking her birth control pills, and she always had at least one condom stashed somewhere. For once though, she actually didn't want things to get that far between them. Not yet anyways. She cared too much about what happened to their relationship to risk it on one night of fun -yet. It wasn't that she wasn't attracted to him, she just liked him too.
Now that she was no longer spellbound, the cold was registering and she shiverred a bit, though she didn't complain. She could get warm soon enough after all. And Nathan's body was giving off enough heat that she wouldn't completely freeze.

Nathan smiled as she latched onto his back. His hands wrapped onto her legs out of instict, to make sure that she didnt fall off. He was starting to shiver only slightly from the rapid cooling of the air, but the warmth of her body heat mixing with his was enough to keep him from shaking uncontrollably.
Nathan walked slowly out of the water, letting each part of his body prepare for the cold air to mix with the water as it was revealed to the open. It amazed him how cold it could get at night when it was so warm only an hour or so before.
Nathan turned his head to the side to make sure that she could hear him. "So I take it I'm carrying you to the car?" he asked, once again the flirtatious tone coming back. It wouldnt bother him one bit to have to carry her, but he just had to take the moment to ask. Who knows why he had to ask, it was quite obvious he was going to be carrying her, but it was just one of those "I want to make sure" things.

Isabella held on with her arms and legs as Nathan carried her out of the water, her chin resting comfortably on his shoulder. It was nice to be pressed so close against his body without having to worry about anything more than enjoying the contact. She was pleased with the way he handled it, good naturedly and matter-of-factly. Most guys would have dumped her back in the water without a second though. Or taken advantage.
She couldn't help but shiver a bit at his flirty voice in her ear, but she ignored her habits and instincts, and just pressed a bit closer as the cool wind chilled her wet skin.
"Yes you are. But I'll walk up the stairs if you want."
She would feel bad for forcing him to carry her up the wooden stairs. That was just too much work for him to be much fun for either of them. If he wanted to she'd let him, but if he'd rather put her down that would be fine too. It would be nice to be carried the whole way though.
"And I'll call the hotel from the car for our food, since I'm starving."
She grinned sheepishly. SHe was hungry, and really, it made sense to have the food ready and waiting for them when they arrived.

"Dont worry about it, I've got you," he said back to her softly. He could be the gentleman and carry her up the stairs, he was stronger than he looked. So maybe that was being more than a gentleman, but he liked this contact between them, it was a closeness without intimacy.
"Just hold on tight," he warned her as he put one foot on the steps and one hand on the railing, still using the other hand to support her. It wasnt really that hard to carry her up the stairs, being in a band, he had carried much heavier, so it wasnt long until they had reached the top and he made his way towards the car.
"Sounds like a plan," he said, regarding the food part. He was getting hungry, and the soft growl coming occasionally from his stomach proved that. Though, as long as he was hanging out with her, he didnt care about what or when he ate.

"ohhh okay then."
Isabella held on tight -but not too tight- while Nathan carried her up the stairs. He didn't seem to have too much trouble with it, which was good, so she held on and held still. The closeness of her body pressed tight against his back was nice. Again, it was a simple enjoyment of being touched without wanting or needing sex. She was beginning to get used to it, and to enjoy the simple affection without looking for 'the rest'.
When they reached the car she slid down off his back, and couldn't resist wrapping her arms around his waist in a quick, tight hug of thanks. She dug through her beach bag and pulled on the translucent cream miniskirt that Alexia had picked out for her. THe sheer material skimmed her curves suggestively. She shot Nathan a grin and slid into the driver's side of the silver sports car, starting the car and digging through her purse for her cell phone.
"I'll just call them, and hopefully our food will be there when we get there."
She flipped open the phone and dialed the number for the hotel, then spent a couple minutes speaking in Spanish with the hotel staff and ordering the dinner. A look of surprise crossed her face as she listened to them explain the dilema they were facing, and she wasn't sure whether to be secretly glad, worried, or irritated. She finished the call and hung up, then looked over at Nathan again.
"So our food is ordered, but there's been a bit of a mix up with rooms it seems..."

Nathan couldnt help but smile when she hugged him after sliding down. With him being the 'nice guy', that was a perfect reward for him. When she went through her bag, he made his way to the other side of the car and grabbed his pants out of his seat.
"Dont look," he called over to her. He knew if he put them on over his trunks, the water would soak through and he'd mostlikely look like he peed himself. And he didnt feel like digging through his own bag, so he was going to be 'free balling' it. He intentionally stood in her blind spot to make sure she couldnt see as he pulled off his trunks and slid on his jeans. Lucky for him, it was night and no one could see him.
He pulled his shoes on, but left the shirt off for now. He would mess with it later, and let the rest of his body dry. After getting everything else on, he slid into the passenger seat and nodded at her statement about calling the hotel.
He noted a look of suprise as she was on the phone. The first thing that crossed his mind was "Oh great, they accedentally gave out the room". He was relieved it was just a mix up, usually that means that your room was just switched, but with what? "Whats the mix up?" he asked curiously.

Isabella was tempted to sneak a peek when he told her not too, but she obediently kept her face turned the other way. She was trying to be good after all. So far -aside from a couple slip ups- it was working. She just had to remind herself of everything she was working her way towards, and for once, that was enough to stop her from doing something stupid. Plus, she may not have been a good person, but she didn't want to hurt anyone. And she could, all too easily.
She drove towards the hotel, staying just a bit over the speed limit -speed limits were boring, after all. The night was calm and she felt relaxed. In reality, the room mixup didn't bother her at all, as long as it wasn't going to bug Nathan.
"They overbooked the hotel. So since both of our rooms are on my credit card, they're putting us in one room. Probably just one of those ones with two beds."
She shrugged. Not at all a big deal. She couldn't have cared less about sharing a room with a guy. She wouldn't have cared about having to share a bed either, except that it would have made it a bit difficult for her to behave herself. Okay, a lot difficult. She pulled into the parking lot of the hotel -which turned out to not be very far from the beach- and parked, turning off the car. She stretched slowly before opening the door to get out.

Nathan let the wind ruffle through his hair and his fingers. His arm was outside of the car, hanging off the edge of the window by his elbow, which is how the wind was going through his fingers. He turned his head to look at her as she spoke to him. Alot of what she said wasnt registering because all he could think of was how cold the air was on wet skin and he really should have worn his shirt.
All that he heard was "Share a room" and "probably two beds". It was enough to send off some alarms in his head. He hoped it was two beds, it was hard enough to control himself right now. If it was one bed he'd probably have to sleep on the floor or else his hands wouldnt be kept to himself.
"Yeah, I guess that sounds do-able," he said, trying to play it off like it was cool and to keep his mind on something else.
"So are you ready to see what we got stuck with?" he said with a hint of curiosity. He tried to keep looking on the bright side of things, to keep any hint of what could only be seen as nervousness off of his face. Maybe he would get lucky and be able to control himself for the night.

Nathan's reaction was no more freaked out than hers -at least externally. Which was good. She wasn't the type to throw a fit and demand two rooms of the hotel staff. Nah, it wasn't that big a deal. Most things weren't. She grinned at him and pulled her bag out of the back of the car, slinging it over her shoulder casually.
"Yep. It's a five star hotel, so I'm sure it won't be bad, whatever it is."
Which was true. In the 'worst' case scenario, they'd be put in something with only one bed. Which wouldn't be bad exactly, just a bit awkward. Whatever it was, they'd make it work. So far they'd been able to roll with everything without too much fuss and awkwardness, and she was confident that they would be able to handle this as well.
She walked with him to the hotel, and got their room keys from the front desk. She tossed one to Nathan, then slipped her arm through his and rode with him up the elevator to their room. She slipped the key in the door, poked her head in, and couldn't help but burst out laughing. It was a honeymoon suite. Oh dear. She even blushed, just a bit.

The ride up to the room in the elevator was a little more relaxing. Mostly because he had Isabella on his arm. His other hand was occupied with messing with his bag that was hanging off of his other arm. There was no doubt he was a little nervous. He had just found out that he was staying in the same room with a girl that he was obviously physically attracted too and every one of his nice guy alarms were going off.
Nathan noticed a small blush come across Isabella, but he still didnt know what was going on. He couldnt see in the room at the moment because the door wasnt open enough. "What is it," he said, letting out a small nervous but cute laugh. Did they get a room mix up again? Was there another set of people already staying in that room? Nathan was just the average old clueless guy who never caught onto anything.
He put his hand forward and pushed on the door to open it so he could see in also. His jaw, if possible, could have hit the floor right then. What did he get himself into? He liked this girl, and now he was staying in a Honeymoon Suite with her. Now it was almost innevitable that he would do something to screw up their whole friendship and even possible relationship.
"So, did I sleep through the big day?" he said with the same nervous laugh while rubbing the back of his neck, just to try to ease any awkwardness or tension between them.

Isabella was startled by Nathan's joke, and laughed more, pushing the door open and walking in. She looked around curiously. It was actually a very, very nice room. And the bed was large enough that it wouldn't be too awkward. Hopefully. She dropped her bag on the chair and turned around, grinning at him.
"I must have slept through it too."
She giggled, and would have flopped onto the bed except she was still in her bikini. Plus, there was dinner waiting at the small table, and she was starving. Oh well, honeymoon suite. No big deal. Well okay, it was. But only if they made it one. She'd never stayed in such a nice room before, and she planned to enjoy it, not fret about being in a honeymoon suite with a boy she liked.
"Look, food. Come eat."
She was -unlike a lot of teenage girls- not at all shy about having a healthy appetite. So she sat down and investigated the food, then sat politely and waited for Nathan to join her, though she fidgetted, just a bit. It smelled good, and it was right under her nose after all. So he'd better hurry up and come sit down.

Nathan couldnt help but to laugh nervously at the thought of spending the night in there. Knowing him, he would probably end up sleeping on the floor out of respect. It would be to respect her space, because he would have a hard time keeping his hands to himself. He has already had many close encounters at kissing her, how many more could he fight off?
Nathan walked the rest of the way into the room and dropped his own bag next to Isabella's. His mind was still racing a bit. This was probably the worst cercumstance for a nice guy to get into, but he'd have to work through it. The smell of food was the only thing to break his thoughts, and boy was he hungry.
"Great," he said with a smile, "What do we have?" he finished while walking over to the table. It would surely be something he'd eat since he wasnt picky, so he wasnt worried about that, but it was more that he was food shy. He loved food, but he didnt want to pig out infront of her or become sloppy because that wouldnt look to great for him.
