The smell of the sea filled his nose as he walked down the long trail of sand, his brown eyes glued to a small seagull just a few feet ahead. Daniel shoved his hands in the pockets of his jeans and let out a small sigh. The sun was setting and yet it seemed a lot more hotter now then it did during the day, this of course wasn't making him any happier. He was currently wearing his black and grey striped long sleeved shirt. Obviously he looked ridicules, but he had a perfectly good(or bad in his case) reason why he was wearing the long sleeved shirt.
Just a couple of hours ago he was perfectly calm and happy, hanging out in his room and writing music, that was until his father came home and began to yell and throw stuff against the walls. Danny wasn't bothered by this until Jordan began to bang against his door, and finally knock it down. The two fought for a couple minutes before the phone rang and his dad ran out to get it. At the moment, will all the rage inside of him and all the hate he had for his dad, Danny went into his bathroom and began to take the anger out on himself.
He tore his gaze from the bird and looked out into the ocean. It looked gorgeous, and was definitely one of those Kodak moments. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, he stopped walked and sat down on a large rock. Apparently he had walked too far from where people normally swim and made his way to an area that was filled with a bunch of rocks. Danny looked down at his right wrist and a sharp pain of regret filled up inside of him. He had broken his promise to his friends and not to mention himself. Feeling guilty sucked.
Danny leaned against the rock, his hands behind him supporting his body, and looked out into the ocean. With nothing better to do he began to play with his snakebites. He half hoped that someone was out, though he highly doubted that people would want to be out in this weather. But still he hoped someone would walk by and talk to him, even if it was a stranger. He needed something right now to distract him from the many thoughts running through his mind, and the pain in his wrist.
